FMH is actively seeking new committee members. We need additional volunteers, active members, to help run the hall, support future events and activities. We want to grow membership, and as well as committee members we are seeking those who would consider becoming a Trustee.

We would love to hear from you if you’ve some time available to volunteer and have skills that can enhance our team. There is something for everyone! Your ideas and action, IT and digital security, social media, website, dealing with customers, booking keeping, organisational skills managing facilities, delivering projects, applying for grants – open to all offers!

Becoming a member is incredibly easy, free and requires no long term commitment!!
You’ll be providing the committee with a supportive sounding board and also joining a volunteer list! This means when tasks or projects come up, the committee can contact you to see if you’re able to lend a helping hand ?

Residents in Marybank, Muirton, Moy, Arcan, Aultgowrie and Orrinside, and the surrounding areas if you are 16 and over, fancy joining in? With more help to deliver and shape ideas, we can really grow support to those in our communities.

We are keen to hear from all those who may wish to get involved, get connected and help enhance the community for all those who live and visit it.

Visit SCIO information to find out more about how the charity operates and the roles. Or come talk to one of the team.

The election of new committee members takes place at the AGM, or at committee meetings.
