Fairburn Memorial Hall is a registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) (Charity No. SC047920) dedicated to maintaining and developing a vibrant community facility for the benefit of residents of Marybank and the surrounding area.
The Hall was established in commemoration of those who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars and continues to serve as a welcoming and inclusive community hub. We provide a space for recreation, education, health and wellbeing activities, social inclusion, and local events that bring people together and strengthen community life.
Working alongside local groups, organisations, volunteers, and public bodies, we strive to enhance the quality of life for all residents, with particular support for older people, young people, and those with additional needs. We are committed to ensuring that our facilities and activities are accessible to everyone, free from discrimination on political, religious, or other grounds.

Committee Members and Trustees
The Hall Committee is responsible for the management and governance of Fairburn Memorial Hall SCIO. It is made up of the charity’s Trustees together with volunteers who take an active role in supporting the operation and development of the Hall.
We are always keen to hear from people who may wish to join the Committee or consider becoming a Trustee.
Trustees play an important role in ensuring the charity is well governed, financially sustainable, and working in the best interests of the communities it serves.
New committee members and trustees are normally elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), although vacancies may arise throughout the year. All committee members adhere to our A code of conduct

The Hall benefits from the support of two self-employed contractors whose dedication helps keep the facility clean, well-maintained, and safe for all users. As part of our commitment to the local area, we endeavour to source services and supplies from local people and businesses whenever possible..
