It’s back! The 2022 Strathconon cycle ride takes place on 7 May 2022
Thanks to Cycling Scotland and our amazing local community volunteers for making sure this much loved local cycle ride returns after a COVID-19 break to continue into its twenty first year.

  • Registration opens at 9am
  • Starting times are staggered from 10am.

Ride One | 4 miles | Cycle to Achonachie Dam and back

Rider entry terms and conditions
1. The Strathconon cycle ride is a fund raising event for Fairburn Memorial Hall and relies solely on volunteers to run it. Entry fee is a suggested donation and is not a requirement to take part.
2. You understand that it is your responsibility to cycle with care and attention and to understand and abide by the Rules, the UK Highway Code and any other rules stipulated by the event organisers before, during and after the event.
3. If you are under 16 years old of the date of the event (child status), you may only participate in an event in you parent or legal guardian has agreed to these conditions.
4. You agree to conduct yourself in a professional and cautious manner during your participation in the event and understand that you may not be able to take part in the event if you do not do so. You accept that, in relation to your participation in the event, the function of the marshals and relevant signage is only to indicate direction and you must decide if the movement is safe.
5. You understand and agree that you participate in the event entirely at your own risk, that you must reply on your own ability in dealing with all hazards, and that you must conduct yourself in a manner that is safe for yourself and all others throughout the duration of the event.
6. If you have any medical conditions, including allergies, with the event’s first aid advisors need to be aware of, you undertake to provide details before or at registration.
7. You accept full liability and responsibility for any medical expenses incurred as a result of training and/or participating in the event.
8. You accept that it is your responsibility to provide and use a suitable bicycle and helmet. The event organiser’s decision is final as to whether the bicycle and helmet are suitable.
9. Be courteous and kind to everyone.
